to install cygwin on another computer:

 on that machine, access \\LAB7\cygwin\cygwindownloadfiles\setup.exe

tell it to Install from Local Directory.
Install Root Directory: c:/apps/cygwin.   Install for All.
click Next on list of packages (all are selected).  Don't need desktop icon nor
add to Startup.


Then install xfree86 by:

copy the files in xfree86downloadfiles to cygwin's \apps\cygwin/tmp
start cygwin.bat
cd to /tmp
run the /tmp/Xinstall.sh

copy /tmp/cmis325.bat to /
make desktop shortcut of cmis325.bat.  rename to Kadenix.  icon is 
\apps\cygwin\cygwin.ico
